KZSU Valentine's Day Concert

I was there from 6 pm - 4 am, helping record, taking pictures, and being a general music lackey. I put all of it online. The musical selections you are about to hear were first digitally recorded on my laptop. I used my (relatively) inexpensive USB mike, hung from a pipe with Marti Gras beads I found in XOX.

This was one of my favorite concerts, ever (with the possible exception of the Dodos with Akron/Family, which was also put on by KZSU). Admittedly, though, I don't go to many concerts. The show at Chi Theta Chi, though, embodied to me how concerts should be: not a huge venue, or an act featuring an overhyped, road-weary indie rock act, but a few artists in an intimate setting sharing their music. Being free doesn't hurt, either.

I'd like to apologize to the artists--as the night wore on, the documentation g worse and worse. Somewhere in the middle of Beatbeat Whisper's set, my laptop grew weary and decided to call it a night. Similarly, my camera ran out of batteries.

So anyway, here goes:
